Student Led Conference/SLC

My Year in Grade 5 was an amazing experience, I worked hard to be the best student I can be. At the beginning of the year I was shy to express my feelings and now i'm very confident to show myself.

In writing I enjoyed fantasy the most. I thought that was the best topic to express my creativity. I chose fantasy because I love to write impossible stories. In Reading I enjoyed the book club partner reading ship since i can read with someone. I thought that Sophie was going to say that my reading level isn't high but she actually said the exact opposite. 

This was my 1 year doing Eureka Math. 

I thought math was fun and the tests were challenging, I say this because I enjoyed math and the tests were hard but I got through them with my courage. 

I thought writing  was challenging for me because to write a good piece of writing there comes many things and some of them i'm not so good but I will be. I learned about how to write a writing piece that can convince many people and I know I am really good at expressing my feelings and I know I need more practice on 

I thought Science was a lot of fun because I enjoyed learning about decomposition and doing the tests

CORE Values. This was my 1 year learning about the year the Core Values. I think their very important to me 
The most important Core Value to me is respect because without respect the world is nothing and jealousy is the only thing. 

In Grade 5 I think the most challenging thing we did of all was MAP tests
because their hard tests but every one was brave to move on.

In Grade 5 I think the most enjoyable thing we did of all was free time  

This year I am most proud of myself as a student 
because improving myself makes me a better person 

When I think about Middle School I feel privileged 
I know I must be very responsible 
I’m most looking forward to  being a middle school er 
I think one challenge might be not talking 
But I will do my best
